Freedom Institute is a Leading New York State OASAS-Approved Provider of Telehealth Clinical Substance Abuse Treatment Services

In light of the COVID-19 restrictions, Freedom Institute was OASAS approved to provide our clinical services via telehealth. Our priority was continued, uninterrupted support to all of our clients for a seamless transition from in-person sessions to remote individual and group sessions.

We have successfully completed week two and are proud of the work we have done to remain actively engaged and serve our community. The positive feedback from our clients is the inspiration we need to keep moving forward.

If you or a loved one needs help, Freedom Institute is here for you. Call us at 212-838-0044 with any questions or for assessments and referrals. Your call will be answered by one of our team members.

Freedom Institute also remains engaged with our community-at-large through posting educational and meditative e-blasts and blogs to support all who need a little extra something over the next several weeks.

Today’s Tip for Managing Mental Health During Social Isolation

#7 Limit news, social media and anxiety provoking conversations
Limit social media and COVID-19 conversation, especially around children and the more anxious members of your family. COVID-19 media coverage is often sensationalized, negatively skewed, and alarmist.  Find a few trusted sources to check in with consistently, limit it to a few times a day, and set a time limit for yourself on how much you consume. Keep news and alarming conversations out of earshot from children. They see and hear everything, and can be easily frightened.

We look forward to seeing you all in person very soon, but until then follow us on Facebook and TwitterClick here to connect with Freedom Institute and follow our FI Blog and sign up to receive news from us.
