Billing Manager

As FI’s Billing Manager, Sara Perez sets up all new clients in the system, oversees client charges and insurance billing, reviews billing for accuracy, and processes insurance payments/refunds, corresponding with clients when they have billing or insurance questions. 

Sara brings patience, persistence, and creative problem solving to her job.  She moved to New York City more than 20 years ago to attend NYU’s Tisch School of Performing Arts, and instead graduated from Hunter College with a dual degree in Spanish and Music Performance. Throughout her career, language has been a common thread connecting a variety of professional areas including bilingual editing, professional choir singing, tutoring, and childcare. Sara’s facility with languages and music translates to numbers and spreadsheets as well—she’s now traded in languages such as German and ASL for Javascript and spreadsheet formulas.
