Pamela Topper, LCSW

Pamela S. Topper LCSW has been a practicing Social Worker in private practice for the past 20-plus years. She graduated from Fordham University’s School of Social Work in 1991. Her post-graduate field experience includes nine years at Mount Sinai Medical Center in the areas of Psychiatry, Pediatric Cardiology, and Addictions. As well as working in the community in the area of Child Welfare, Ms. Topper is currently an Adjunct Professor at The Silberman School for Social Work where she specializes in classes about Clinical Practice Methods as well as Professional Seminar and Family Therapy electives.
Ms. Topper completed her post-graduate training at The Ackerman Institute for the Family in 2000 and is a certified Family Therapist who specializes in Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy. She is trained to work with people who are struggling with various issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, and addictions. Ms. Topper is a systems person who meets people where they are and works within their readiness.
In her spare time, Ms. Topper enjoys cooking, traveling, and listening to live music.
