Mixed Goals IOP — Meet the Team!

MIXED GOALS INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM — WORKING TOGETHER TOWARD GROWTH AND HEALTH

Freedom Institute’s Mixed Goals IOP — a partner to our traditional abstinence-based IOP — offers a structured, intensive, and empathetic treatment experience for individuals with a range of goals. The three-day a week program is designed for those who want to clarify their relationships to substances, those who may not want to commit to abstinence or may wish to pursue abstinence in a setting with people who have diverse goals, and those who are uncertain about their long-term goals in relation to substance use.

THE TEAM — EXPERT PARTNERS IN POSITIVE CHANGE

The Mixed Goals IOP is led by highly experienced and deeply committed Freedom Institute clinicians, each leading a specific aspect of the program.  All are dedicated to supporting clients in clarifying and achieving their healthiest relationship with substances and building a supportive environment in which individuals help themselves, and also strengthen those around them.

Ruth Gasparik, LCSW, CASAC

Individual and Group Therapist

“I aim to create a corrective, relational experience in which individuals can feel safe to explore their self and their meaning and purpose in life, and then collaborate to develop treatment goals that reflect these values. This is a powerful and transformative process.”

Christi Meyer, LCAT, ATR-BC

Individual, Group, and Art Therapist

“We provide clients with as many tools as possible to help in the recovery process. Art therapy can be an exceptional method to teach clients in early recovery to express themselves non-verbally. The creative act of art-making helps communicate feelings and cultivates being in the present moment.”
