Freedom Institute Offers Additional Early Recovery Programming

To accommodate the increasing demand for outpatient group programming for individuals with less than 90 days of sobriety, Freedom Institute is now offering a second Early Recovery Group (ERG) as part of our Evening Outpatient Program. Freedom Institute has been providing effective, quality substance abuse and addiction treatment to executives and professionals in the New York metropolitan area since 1976.

Popular among working professionals, Early Recovery Group is a 12-week series and offers the opportunity for those in early recovery to share challenges and successes, and support each other in learning new ways of coping with the stressors of work and life. The new ERG will take place on Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm, starting February 5th. Clients who wish can combine it with the existing ERG that meets on Mondays 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Both ERGs are facilitated by Freedom Institute experienced, credentialed therapists.

Clinical Director, Alex Dayton commented, "Having a second Early Recovery Group as part of our Evening Outpatient Program allows us to further customize our evening programming to the fit the needs of our clients; particularly working professionals who are faced with the challenge of balancing their recovery with work and personal life demands."

Adding this group opens up more possibilities for our clients since this group can be combined with other Evening Outpatient groups at FI, including our DBT Skills and Advanced DBT Practice groups, among others. The choices we offer at Freedom Institute provide our clients flexibility and the opportunity to create a more intensive program for working professionals with busy lives.

People who would like to continue with groups after 90 days of continuous sobriety can move on to our Advanced Relapse Prevention Group.

Out-of-network insurance is accepted as a form of payment, and for more information about our Evening Out Patient Program and the Early Recovery Group, visit the Freedom Institute website, or call 212-838-0044.
