FI Launches New Innovative Professionals Program

A Unique Integration of Clinical Treatment + Peer Programming + Veritus Coaching™ in an afterwork telehealth intensive outpatient program exclusively for professionals struggling with alcohol, substance abuse and underlying mental health issues.

Freedom Institute has launched an innovative new after work intensive outpatient program exclusively for professionals. The program combines Freedom Institute’s world class evidence-based clinical treatment integrated with our proprietary Veritus Coaching™ and Peer Programming, a curriculum specific to work related issues common among high-functioning professionals.

Veritus Coaching™ is a specialized blend of executive, performance and recovery coaching unique to Freedom Institute, while Peer Programming focuses on common issues such as professional burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, professional boundaries, stress, work-life balance, and dealing with stigma and receiving treatment with professional equals consistently elevates treatment outcomes.

Over the past two years, telehealth services have exploded and research has proven that virtual treatment services in mental health are just as effective as in-person treatment. At Freedom Institute, we have seen that telehealth provides increased access to care from home or office; the ability to achieve recovery while remaining at work; higher levels of confidentiality and reduced stigma; and improved outcomes in recovery as well as professional goals.

Freedom Institute’s Professional Program offers three group sessions per week and once-a-week individual psychotherapy, all facilitated by Masters-level clinicians. Veritus Coaching™ is integrated from the start and throughout the program. Every client’s Recovery Team includes a Freedom Institute clinician and a Veritus coach who work together with clients on a weekly basis from day one.

Veritus Coaching™ was designed for high-functioning professionals in early recovery who are participating in an intensive outpatient level of care. Highly trained and credentialed, our Veritus coaches are business executives, lawyers, physicians or nurses, lawyers, who are in long-term recovery themselves and understand the challenges of achieving recovery success while maintaining performance at work. Veritus Coaching™ is customized for each client who is matched with a coach specific to their profession or peer group, a treatment component unique to Freedom Institute.
