The Division on Addictions of the New York State Psychological Association is excited to announce its upcoming conference on November 1, 2024. As always, our conference offerings are aimed at clinicians in private practice, those working in institutional settings, students, trainees, policymakers, and any stakeholders in advancing our core goals.

Topics at this year’s conference will include: panels on process addictions like gambling, eating, and out-of-control sexual behavior; on integration of harm reduction principles with other forms of addictions treatment and support; and a live demonstration of chair-work psychotherapy; and a presentation on psilocybin-assisted treatment of addiction.
